GREETINGS FROM YOUR EXALTED RULER...

This Thanksgiving the secretary and I will be opening the Club from 6 pm - 9 pm. You are welcome to escape from your crazy family and come to get a drink with your even crazier Elk family. I will be cooking up some award losing chili that will aid in your turkey digestion.

The bar will be cash only as I do not know how to work the plastic money machine.

Please keep reading all of this newsletter. It is very important to our future well-being as Elks that you participate in the upcoming gun raffle. It's a fun night and I hope to have a drink with you all!

Forever in Elkdom,
    Branden Johnson, ER

FROM THE SECRETARY...

And just like that we’re in November! This past month we initiated 3 new members- Rob Wagner, Charlie Massi, and Charlton Rolle. Also, we already have 2 candidates approved for initiation in November.  If you see new members or candidates, please be sure to give them a warm welcome!

I’m sad to announce that we lost long-time member, Bob Klepper, at the end of September.  He had been a member for 71 years!  He will be missed~

We had our annual inspection and a district meeting in Lima this past month.  We have a couple things to work on, but passed each part of the inspection.  There will be a PER dinner in Defiance on November 7th for any PERs or Officers interested.

Hope to see you all down at the lodge over the next month for all of the upcoming events, but especially for the gun raffle!

Respectfully Yours,
    Laura Johnson, Secretary
