March 2018 |
As the Elks year comes to a close I just want to say thank you to all of my brothers and sisters who have helped to make this year a success! I will be keeping my position as ER for one more year and I am happy to announce that the rest of my fellow officers will be staying with me.
This year we kept our doors open, we made huge building improvements, and we made charitable contributions. You, the members, made all of this possible. The dues notices will be mailed this week, I sincerely hope you all choose to stay part of the Elk family.
Please consider donating to the Elks National Fund or to Cerebral Palsy when you write that check for your dues. These two funds help communities across the country and make our lodge eligible for grants that we can use to directly help make a difference in Tiffin.
BEGINNING MARCH 1ST WE ARE CHANGING OUR HOURS OF OPERATIONS AT THE CLUB. WE WILL OPEN AT 5 P.M. MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY AND CLOSE AT 11 P.M. WE WILL STILL HAVE THE 3 MEMBER RULE AT 11 P.M. THIS CHANGE WAS MADE AFTER CONSIDERING OUR CURRENT FLOW OF BUSINESS.
Happy March! Spring weather is just around the corner~ Dues notices will be mailed the last weekend of February, so keep your eyes peeled. Remember you can pay at the lodge or online. In addition, you’ll be able to pay dues and pick up your cards at the dueling pianos and awards night on April 7th! As in past years, you’ll have the option to donate to the Elks National Foundation (https://www.elks.org/enf/) or to the state project on Cerebral Palsy (https://www.elks.org/programs/stateProjects.cfm?statecode=OH).
Last month we initiated four new members- Jenifer Crawford, Raffy Reyes, Matthew Skeel, and A.J. Wenn. Let’s give them a warm welcome next time you see them at the lodge!

PLEASE SUPPORT OUR CHARITABLE EFFORTS!
Your Tiffin Elks Lodge #94 has a long standing tradition of benevolence by supporting local Seneca County Charities through donations. These donations are provided through the B.P.O.E. #94 accounts with the Tiffin Charitable Foundation. As required by the State of Ohio, 25% of our gambling revenues are directed to the Elks fund with The Tiffin Charitable Foundation. We also supplement these funds by holding numerous and varied activities and fund raising events throughout the year. Please join us in this cause by channeling some of your annual charitable contributions to:
Tiffin Charitable Foundation
68 S. Washington St.
Tiffin, Ohio 44883
Please include a note that your donation is to be deposited into the BPOE Tiffin Lodge #94 Account. Upon request, the Foundation will send you a receipt for your Tax Deduction purposes. All contributions are greatly appreciated.
