GREETINGS FROM YOUR EXALTED RULER...

Happy NewYear!!!

The Elks New Year's resolution is to improve the club. Read the trustees section to see our plans for the kitchen. The rest of the building will fall under a new volunteer group we are forming called the "House and Grounds Committee." If you would like to make a real difference at the lodge please consider joining this new group. Hit reply and email me if you are interested. If you want to be involved in a lesser manner, keep an eye out for volunteer opportunities related to this committee!

Come to the Elks on January 22nd and create your own farmhouse art masterpiece. Find more info and register at the link below.

I will see you all next year!

Forever in Elkdom,

FROM THE SECRETARY...

Happy New Year!  I hope everyone had a great holiday!  Thanks to everyone who come to the memorial service earlier this month- it is always important to acknowledge our fallen members.  Unfortunately, we lost another lifetime member last month, Chris Bame.  Chris grew up in Tiffin and ultimately moved to Indiana, but remained a member of the Tiffin Elks for 57 years.

In other news, we have been in discussions to lease a space for the Tiffin FOP, which will bring in quite a few new members!  We expect to have a special initiation ritual during their meeting in January.  Thanks to Tyler Shuff for helping facilitate this partnership.

Respectfully Yours,
    Laura Johnson, Secretary

We hope everyone had a great holiday season! Now it’s time to turn the calendar. The club will be closed on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

The kitchen received some new equipment in December and we have decided to close the kitchen for the month of January to organize and clean. Look forward to February when the new kitchen committee brings back a consistent Wednesday dinner menu and dates. Can’t wait to see what this committee has in store for 2019.

We will be looking at events for 2019. If you would like to participate or have an idea for the club feel free to attend a trustee meeting and share. Meetings are the 1st and 3rd Thursday of every month at 7 p.m.

We are also looking for 1 or 2 new trustees in 2019 if you are interested in being part of the team.

Respectfully Yours,
    Your Trustees
